Harry Winston built his reputation on diamonds, but the house has always understood that the setting is half the argument. The Traffic Light collection makes that case with characteristic restraint — a vertical bar of white gold, precisely proportioned, with round brilliant diamonds arranged in a column that interrupts rather than covers the metal. The name comes from the stacked configuration of the stones, and once you know it, you can't unknow it.

Each earring consists of a small rectangular stud top, hinged to a longer rectangular drop that falls cleanly below the lobe. The drop face is satin-finished 18-karat white gold — flat, architectural, deliberate — with five round brilliant diamonds set in two groups along the face: two at the top of the bar, three at the bottom, separated by a panel of bare brushed metal between them. That negative space is doing as much work as the diamonds. It slows the eye, creates rhythm, and gives the piece a graphic quality that reads as modern regardless of when it was made.
