Van Cleef & Arpels Rose de Noel earrings in the small model, 18k yellow gold with white mother-of-pearl and diamonds. Each flower is built from six petals, every one a separately cut and carved piece of white mother-of-pearl, domed and slightly cupped so the flower looks caught mid-bloom rather than pressed flat. Twelve petals in all, matched across the pair for color and the same soft pink-and-silver iridescence. The pearl is held in a fine yellow gold frame that runs the edge of each petal and disappears into the center.
That center is the pistil: a cluster of yellow gold beads crowned with diamonds. Twelve round brilliant-cut diamonds between the two earrings, 0.97 carats total, D to F color, IF to VVS clarity.
